You have to use 6 mil plastic gloves so that you do not burn your fingers on hot tortillas. Then you count out 10 tortillas over and over all day. Count to ten, deny the eleven, and place aside the stacks of ten. Then once you have a chance you bag the tortillas, place them in the tie machine to tie them off and label them with a sell by date. Then you just place them in the display. You also are forward facing so you also deal with customers as you are the closest person to the front. But most days you just have one person on the tortilla machine and you do both jobs. The coveyor belt for the input of the balls of dough holds several so you load up the balls of shaped dough and then turn around and package for a bit and turn around and load more and repeat. I paid close attention to how the old hispanic ladies shape the dough. You have to just use a light touch with not too much flour and then shape them into little disks in order for them to not clog the machine. I discovered them by the end of yesterday and my life got a lot better as I did not have to fish out as many stuck or on fire tortillas. You just make tortillas all day until you run out of dough. So I have been trying to find a way to have a blog that I can use a content management system with so I can edit it from any browser but without having to pay for hosting. I created a way using Jekyll as the framework for the static blog site so you can just edit it in markdown really easy in VSCode or whatever you use and then push to the repo and deploy updates instantly. I pointed it to a domain you can buy for like $12 a year which is the total cost for the site. If you just start doing serverless development in javascript it is easy to create a lot of functionality without having to pay for hosting. Other options could have been Render or Github pages.
I have been using the Anthropic Workbench for Claude development prepaid API calls and it is simply the best in my opinion when it comes to current development work.
I have tried briefly the newest Llama 3.1 but the guardrails on it and quality control are not on par with what Anthropic has created with Sonnet 3.5.
It is not perfect, in fact I think you have to debug the script I made in order to make it work, but all you have to do is copy paste the error to the large language model and you can fix it like I did. I am just too lazy right now to update the final version with the most complete guide that takes into account all of the bugs I had to go back and fix.
I have found that by summarizing a project with a .sh build file is the easiest shorthand I have thought of to include your codebase in a request to debug or edit or riff off a website you build.

What is best is that it uses a headless CMS so that it is very easy to create content for the blog.
Next I am going to use local deployments of Ollama to help create content for the blog and use the guide as context for prompts to store the codebase and riff off different fully written blogs about different topics.
This is all on MacOS and there are some bugs that you might need to iron out to get it to run how you want. I don't usually just run the .sh I usually just run the commands separately so I can debug it more easily if something comes up. I like to create .sh files as a way to store the codebase for future prompts to debug or modify content.
The goal I was trying to accomplish was to create a blog with a content management system that I could host as a static site on a free service like Render or Netlify. Jekyll is very easy to setup and can be done without a lot of configuration and editing the code.
I really like Netlify. You can easily use Git to publish a repo and deploy it immediately making updates very easy. My editor of choice is VSCode just because I like the extensions and UI.
Next I want to modify the blog so that instead of writing blog posts it will still write blog posts but also create responses from chron job git pushes of locally generated content using Ollama to have the LLM comment on the blog posts. So instead of having an audience of commenters you can simulate and replicate that using a locally hosted LLM.
For the next blog post I will probably rewrite the entire .sh file so that it works correctly and generates the current blog that I have up.
But what I want the comments that are generated to be are insights into the content of the blog post. So in essence you will be able to get feedback to your posts from multiple perspectives. The way you do that is create in the context window of the prompt a role played personality that you can use pretrained models that you can download from huggingface and use ollama to host locally. Through doing that you can have access to some good LLMs without having to pay for them as they are open source.
While I prefer using Claude Sonnet 3.5 for coding, for automation and AI Agent creation for creative blog content creation and role played human contributors as responses to the content the open source models available are more than sufficient.
I just need a better computer or just pay for compute in the cloud to get quicker responses.
Now instead of making games better or more realistic you want a more powerful Tensor Processing Unit on your laptop in order for the generative pretrained transformer on your computer that you host locally to provide better and quicker access to LLM or generative AI created content.
Currently I have a Macbook Late 2017 with an AMD Discrete graphics card on it and just a fourth generation intel I7. It won't run Llama 3.1 very well or even earlier models. Getting a better computer for me now means having better and freer access to large language models.
So to me investing in a laptop with a TPU in it would aid in development work and allow me freedom as it is easy to alter the guardrails and fine-tune models locally with Ollama so that I would not be constricted by the quality assurance developed guard rails that I helped create at Centific. Since I helped moderate content for large language model development I still have the documentation that outlines all of the ways that the data, prompts and responses were to be graded in order to generate the training data to aide the question answer aspect of generative large language models.
I am excited about all of this. For the longest time I struggled with a lot of programming projects but getting this blog up and running for free has only been possible with the aide of large language models and my method that I use to encode the entire codebase in a transcribed fashion using a paid API call to Claude Sonnet 3.5 in order to generate .sh files from lists of terminal commands that I edit together in google doc files from my trial and error approach to development. It took a few weeks on the weekends of just trying over and over again until I finally was able to get it to work.
This is my main hobby right now. I really want to get a job doing it but junior developer roles have been replaced by LLM aided development. I did know a professional developer who would work on Upwork for his entire income as a senior developer but he was almost always in a Zoom meeting and had to do his own sales calls. I was hoping we would be friends and I would often ask him questions about programming when I was trying things out and got stuck before I learned how to properly prompt the LLMs that is and before I lost all contact with him because of, well it is a long story but let's just say I won't be seeing him anytime soon more than likely. He is ok, it is just that I may or may not have acted in such a way that he does not want to have anything to do with me anymore at some point that we knew each other. He was a great resource for many things. It is too bad we can't be friends. But now I have Claude to ask for advice and it has helped me finally be able to create things that work.
