So my major at university was History. I was really good at mathematics and science in high school and graduated with over 33 hours of undergrad credit because I tested out of around 11 AP tests with a 5 and then I also earned an international baccalaureate diploma which also contributed to the hours I started with. So I tested out of all the prerequisite math and science classes at university so I did not take any further sciences other than political science and a few psychology/sociology classes. So while the professor reviewed all the basic concepts to these idiots I just programmed on my TI-83. My favorite thing I made was Snake. Using just for loops and if thens I was able to animate the screen using just basic logic. I loved it. But then I went to university and did not take any math or science at all. But I also started doing web development in middle school. I went to a private school so they would just let me work on the computer all day and teach myself new things. I remember hypercards or whatever that hyperscripting application was that I would use to make gambling games for me and my friends to bet on things with which I would rig and take their money. That was also the time I was using BBS and all of a sudden my father started getting letters in the mail with $5 bill in them because I had created a pyramid scheme where you basically create a viral message where you list 5 addresses and the things goes like this, you send $5 to each of the addresses and then you put your name at the top of the list and erase the bottom one and then you can post it and also get in on it. Except you never send the money to anyone and just post it and people are idiots and they would fall for it and actually send money. Anyway I took the LSAT and only got a 154 so I did not go to law school because I did not want to get into debt and did not score high enough for enough of a scholarship. I had gone to university on a full ride since I was able to graduate in 3 years instead of 4 because I had tested out of so much in high school. Since my highschool only went up to calculus and probability and statistics when I was a senior I just took the calculus class again except I had different coursework which only I would do so I did not have to pay attention to the class and could just work on what the professor assigned me. I did the same thing for my German class because German is my mother tongue. He was the best math teacher I ever had. He was an army ranger who went to west point. But that is how I got up to around differential equations and understanding most probability functions on my TI-89. But all my life I have been a computer nerd, just like my father. I started web development in middle school and eventually I started using wordpress but that is as far as I went for a while in that direction. I understood HTML/CSS and JavaScript but not very well and was reliant on having the backend entirely handled by WordPress for me for a long time.
