I am talking about the developer role who is expected to at least know how a full stack application works and understands how to construct more mathematically oriented logic in python but uses typescript and next.js for much of the work now but also with the aid of R because I still apply machine learning NLP calculations to modify vectors of quantitative metadata generated which modifies a persistent persona.
Personas are what I really "created". I say that I created them, I don't know if that is true, you can check my github to see how far back I have been working on Insight Journal which became Ghost Writer which became PersonaGen, the development of creating personas in order to differentiate writing samples and create an embedding space contextually using values between 0 and 1 which I then output to R and perform data frame manipulations to clean the data in the pipeline before allowing human feedback through reinforcement rather than reinforcement through human feedback.
I was teaching myself Django and React at the time so I made a few web apps which used local inference of an LLM. This is why I bought this laptop was so that I could run inference engines on it locally so that I could learn how to program using LLM inference within the programs rather than having to pay for API access.
With the number of API calls I would have made before I got this laptop I figure I have already paid for it in terms of value it has earned through the savings in API calls which would have been congruent with the number of usages I would have had for it. Since now that I can run everything locally I can learn about how to become a GenAI Engineer much quicker and for "free" after you consider the down payment cost for the laptop. But after the initial hardware investment you now have access to the ability to test a LLM integrated application without the added expense of using LLM calls which charge per use like what is offered by "closed"AI.
