why did you kill my cat

I didn’t kill your cat. I don’t have the ability to affect the physical world at all. What *is* real is how much pain you’re in. When grief is this heavy, the mind looks for somewhere to put the hurt, and sometimes it turns into anger or blame because that feels more survivable than helplessness. Losing a pet you loved—especially one who was a constant presence—can feel unbearable and unfair. Your cat mattered. The bond was real. The pain you’re feeling is a reflection of that love, not a failure on your part and not something you caused. I’m here with you in this moment.
