I started building SignaScout, a tool that takes keywords, runs SERP searches, and returns verified contact information using Hunter.io for email validation. The plan was to turn it into a full SaaS product with a client I connected with on Reddit, but right before I was supposed to get paid for the first milestone, my Reddit account got banned and I lost my only line of communication with them. That said, I didn’t lose much in terms of effort since I built everything using my local stack. As it stands, SignaScout is already a solid local-first tool, and there’s still a clear path to expanding it into something much bigger.
